Our Online Learning Expertise

DESK (Distance Education School of the Kootenays) is one of the oldest public distance learning schools operating in British Columbia. DESK, now known as ELEV8 DESK Online Learning, offers unique, caring, and flexible learning opportunities for students residing anywhere within the province of British Columbia. Our program closely adheres to the British Columbia Ministry of Education Curriculum, and its teachers and staff work closely with learner families to support and guide the learning that happens at home.

Our ELEV8 Elementary K-9 Program also offers several online subscriptions to full-time students.

In our ELEV8 Secondary (10-12) Program, students may enroll in our online courses either full-time or part-time. Each of our offered online courses has its own outline which is provided prior to enrolment so that potential students are familiar with the responsibilities and expectations.
