Elev8 Online Learning is open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. At Elev8 DESK, formerly known as the Distance Education School of the Kootenays (DESK), teachers plan and oversee all of our BC-approved and accredited education programs. Parents, wherever and whenever possible, are always encouraged to provide the day to day support at home for their student. Our comprehensive curriculum covers a spectrum of subjects including essential Mathematics, English, Social Studies, and Science.

Elev8 DESK is proud to also offer adult education programs.

Our Elementary Program (K-9) is fulltime with a school year that operates from September to June. Grades K to 3 are blended programs (paper-based resources and online components), and Grades 4 to 9 are delivered online, through our learning management system, Brightspace D2L.

In our Secondary Program (10-12), students may enroll in our online courses either full-time or part-time. Each of our offered online courses has its own outline which is provided prior to enrolment so that potential students are familiar with the responsibilities and expectations.
