A Student Learning Plan (SLP) is a required document for every online learner in British Columbia. The SLP outlines a student’s intended learning path for the year ahead, and includes considerations such as the materials, resources, and activities that will support the journey. Each SLP is driven both by learner passions and choice; it is also informed by the BC Curriculum. The SLP is recognized as a ‘working’ document that can change and evolve as the school year progresses. Your Elev8 DESK teacher will meet with the learner and/or a parent/guardian in early September to create a shared learning path for the upcoming school year.
