DESK is a distributed learning program serving SD8 Kootenay Lake and the Province of British Columbia. We are located in Nelson, BC, in the Kootenay Region.

DESK now offers a learning centre students may access from 8:00 to 4:00 pm at DESK – 811 Stanley Street, Nelson, BC.
Any student that needs/wants to add a DESK course needs to email Ron Kilgour with their request. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
LV Rogers students completing online courses for Graduation 2018 — please note that LV Rogers requires proof of credits and completion by May 22, 2018 in order for you to be eligible to participate in the Cap and Gown Ceremony Friday, June 15th, 2018.
All applicants need to be part of School District 8 Kootenay Lake as there is a face to face component. Students may register through the DESK registration link. Select Global and Intercultural Studies 12 2017-2018 from the pull down menu.
Are you a part time or full time DESK student Registering with LV Rogers Secondary?
Please note that you no longer need a transfer form if you live within the LV Rogers catchment area. You are welcome to register at any time by contacting the school–please note Gr 9 course selections have been completed, and Gr 10-12 course selections will be completed for transferring in-catchment students by mid-April 2018. You will need to complete a registration form with updated information and complete a course selection form.
